The ending animation sequence for Blue Archive The Animation, which debuted in the second episode of the series, has been released on the Blue Archive YouTube channel.
The ending sequence is replete with strong character animation, though the chorus section offsets its charms with a messy pace and not-so-perfect use of crossfades. It’s storyboarded by the animator Moaang, whose last storyboard credit was on Akebi’s Sailor Uniform‘s seventh episode. Myoun, another formidable animator, also worked on the storyboards and has layout design credits as well. The unit direction, animation director, and color script credits belong to Furan.
The Blue Archive The Animation ending song is “Mahiru no Sora no Tsuki” by RED.
Blue Archive The Animation, an adaptation of NEXON Games‘s free-to-play “Youth x Academy x Military RPG” Blue Archive, had its premiere on April 7. The show is streamed in various non-Western territories by the Ani-One Asia YouTube channel. The story is set in the academy city Kivotos and focuses on the Countermeasures Committee of Abydos High School, which faces the threat of closure due to desertification.
The opening animation was uploaded last week.
