Dallas Police Seek Chiefs WR Rashee Rice in Major Accident Probe

According to a report, authorities in Dallas are actively searching for Rashee Rice, wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, in connection with a significant accident that occurred on Saturday evening.

The incident, which occurred around 6:20 p.m., involved a vehicle believed to be either registered or leased by Rice.

Dallas police spokeswoman Kristin Lowman informed that initial investigations revealed that both a driver in a Chevrolet Corvette and a driver in a Lamborghini were speeding in the far left lane, resulting in the loss of control of their vehicles.

Minor injuries were sustained by two drivers at the scene, while two others were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The police are still in the process of identifying the suspects.

Although Rice’s alleged involvement in the accident remains uncertain, he was listed as the suspected driver of the Corvette in the police call sheet obtained. 

Rice, a second-round selection by the Chiefs in the previous year, made a significant impact during his rookie season, emerging as Patrick Mahomes’ primary target after Travis Kelce.

With 79 receptions for 938 yards and seven touchdowns, he excelled before setting an NFL rookie record with 26 postseason receptions during the Chiefs’ Super Bowl journey.

The 23-year-old Rice, hailing from North Richland Hills, Texas, pursued his education at Southern Methodist University (SMU) in University Park, a Dallas suburb.
