The previously announced Na Nare Hana Nare original anime (stylized as na-nare hana-nare) has released a new key visual ahead of its scheduled premiere this July. P.A. Works is animating the series.
Koudai Kakimoto is both directing the series and in charge of writing the scripts. Tomomi Takada drew the original character design concepts for the series, with both Kanami Sekiguchi and Nana Miura serving as chief animation directors and character designers for the animation.
The cast for the anime includes:
- Rika Nakagawa as Kanta Misora
- Yuki Nakashima as Suzuha Obunai
- Rarisa Tago Takeda as Anna Aveiro
- Manaka Iwami as Nodoka Ōtani
- Moe Kahara as Shion Tanizaki
- Miku Ito as Megumi Kaionji
The original anime “Na Nare Hana Nare” follows the journey of six high school girls from Gunma prefecture as they navigate adolescence with their unique hobbies, talents, and personalities. Through singing, chance encounters, daring feats, and shared fantasies, they form a bond that transcends conventional boundaries, touching the hearts of those around them. United by their desire to uplift others, their collective encouragement has the potential to make a positive impact on the world.
This is the latest original anime project from P.A. Works, which includes Angel Beats! (2010), Hanasaku Iroha (2011), Tari Tari (2012), Koitabi: True Tours Nanto (2013), Nagi-Asu: A Lull in the Sea (2013), Glasslip (2014), Shirobako (2014), Charlotte (2015), Sakura Quest (2017), Sirius the Jaeger (2018), Iroduku: The World in Colors (2018), and Fairy Gone (2019).
Recent original works from the studio include Appare-Ranman! (2020), The Day I Became a God (2020), The Aquatope on White Sand (2021), Akiba Maid War (2022), and Buddy Daddies (2023). They also announced another original anime project titled Mayonaka Punch, which will will also air in July this year.
