A January 8 (effectively January 9 at 1:30 AM JST) Japanese premiere has been revealed for the Oroka na Tenshi wa Akuma to Odoru anime.
It was also announced that veteran voice actors Masako Nozawa and Mayumi Tanaka will be voicing side characters Dog Boxer/Joe and Cat Boxer/Cham, respectively.
Oroka na Tenshi wa Akuma to Odoru is an adaptation of the KADOKAWA-published manga by Sawayoshi Azuma, which began serialization in Dengeki Maou in 2016 and has 16 tankoubon volumes as of October 2023. The “wicked romantic comedy” follows the demon Masatora Akutsu, who comes to Earth searching for a human who can be an idol and source of motivation for the demons. The girl he targets, Lily Amane, turns out to be a literal angel who captures Masatora and forces him to assist her on her mission.
