Action drama The Baker tells the tale of an ordinary elderly man whose current job is watching his granddaughter evolve into a deadly search for his son, who vanishes for no reason.

Synopsis of The Baker
Peter, who owns a small limousine business, thought his journey to the airport would be a straightforward pick-up. Peter sees an astonishing scenario after a delay and sends the man back to the underground parking lot.
A rival gang interrupts a drug drop in the parking lot while the driver hides in the shadows. The two gangs eventually kill each other, leaving Peter and a duffel bag worth of cocaine. A half second later, the man decides, and as a result, he flees the town with his small daughter after snatching the bag.
The father-daughter pair comes at Peter’s father’s, Pappi’s Bake Shop. Although Pappi hasn’t spoken to his granddaughter Delphi in years and doesn’t even know she exists, Peter persuades him to take care of her.
After receiving an unsettling call regarding transferring his stash, Peter goes home with assurances of safety in exchange for a profitable trade with his drug dealer, Milky. However, he faces a different destiny at home when he encounters armed men who are employed by The Merchant, a notorious local drug lord.
Peter tries to give their drugs back to him in exchange for his life, but he quickly finds out that Delphi, in a fit of rage, replaced the contents of the duffel bag with her school bag. The criminals beat Peter up after realizing the same.
Finally, the guy calls Pappi and begs him to watch over his daughter before the baker hears gunfire coming from the other end of the call.
As a consequence, the baker and Dephi go to a police station to submit a report after a rough start to the day with the daughter, who so strongly recalls Pappi as his small child.
How does the movie end?
During his final phone conversation with Peter, Pappi heard the sounds of gunfire across the line, but the elderly man clung to the hope his son and Delphi’s father may still be alive. He also gave the little kid advice on how to control her aspirations without breaking her spirit.
The Merchant is adamant about getting his lost drug back and is still searching for the missing Nova drug. Victor doesn’t give up and keeps sending attackers after Pappi for the same reason.
Following the attempt at the hospital, Pappi makes a hard decision and chooses to complete the mission. So he calls the man using one of Victor’s thugs’ phones to arrange a meeting, and then he kidnaps him.
The story stays clear of Pappi’s history, not disclosing the majority of the specifics. However, it is clear from flashbacks and casual remarks that the baker is concealing a horrifying background that still gives him regular nightmares.
Pappi finds and identifies Peter’s partially buried body in the forest. To get revenge on Victor, he then turns to killing him. Remarkably, Victor begs for Pappi’s death and accepts Pappi’s ultimate verdict, even though his guilt has been bothering him for days over leaving a kid orphaned.
In his anger, Pappi lets the bullet veer so that Victor can be pummeled and submerged. But Delphi is drawn to the woods by the sound of the gunshots, where he sees the horrific sight.
On the other hand, Pappi recognizes Peter in the shadow of his daughter, recalling a period before Peter grew up and began to hate him, because of his violent background. He decides to let go of the past and embrace a better future.
