Recap And Review
The animation for the episode was just as good as any as Kinema Citrus has been showing consistency with its work. Facing the Dragon alone, Naofumi defends the dragon’s attack with one of his shields. Alta tries to assist Naofumi in taming the dragon but gets hit instead by the blast which also causes a hole in the den.
It causes the den to flood with water and washes out the party from the area. As there is no time before Gaelin drains all of the energy, the group tries to find the best way to fight the Dragon while Wyndia is able to remember a scale on the dragon.
After coordination and Naofumi’s Wrath Shield, the party manages to subdue the Dragon and get him trapped. This also helps them open the Dragon’s body which reveals Filo and Gaelin from the inside. Sadeena rushes in to save them from the body and retrieves the dragon core from inside as well.
After retrieving all of it, Rapthalia lands the final blow ending the battle with the dragon for good. While the villagers want to blame Ren for this incident, Naofumi says that this is the result of how they treated the latter.
As everything is settled, we see that Gaelin talks with Naofumi and tells him not to inform the others about him as it is their secret.
