The trailer gives a sneak peek of the opening song Ctrl C by KOHTA YAMAMOTO feat. Shun Ikegai. Furthermore, a cast update announces Kentarou Tone joining as Jiron, a subordinate of the main protagonist Ike.

It revolves around Ike, leader of the Demon King Army’s Seventh Corps, who harbors a secret he’s a reincarnated human, not a demon.
Originally published under Futabasha’s Monster Bunko label, the light novel series debuted in September 2016 and concluded in 2018 after five volumes.
Its popularity spawned a manga adaptation by Anajiro. The story initially surfaced as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2016.

The cast features Jun Fukuyama as Ike, Hina Tachibana as Satie, Shizuka Itoh as Cefiro, Manaka Iwami as Dairokuten Demon Lord, and Azumi Waki as Lilith.
The newly announced staff members include Satoshi Motoyama as Sound Director, Pony Canyon for Music Production, and Bit Grooove Promotion for Sound Production.
Hata, known for works like The Reformation of the World as Overseen by a Realist Demon King and A Boy Raised by Gods Will Be The Strongest, started the story on Shōsetsuka ni Narō in February 2016, with updates until November 2022. Futabasha released the fifth novel volume in April 2018.
In 2019, Anajiro began adapting the story into a manga on Futabasha’s Gaugau Monster website. The manga’s 10th volume was released on January 30, captivating readers with its vivid portrayal of the tale.
