Mysterious Disappearances Releases 2nd Trailer and Visual, Reveals April 10 Start

The Mysterious Disappearances TV anime will begin airing in Japan on April 10. Also revealed: a second trailer and visual, some more cast members, and the details about its theme songs.

Joining the cast lineup are Rie Takahashi as Shizuku, Saya Aizawa as Nodoka Ametsuchi, and Yuuya Uchida as John Doe. For the theme songs, “Hazard Symbol” by Yuyu and Mafumafu will serve as the opening, while “Akaku Somete Shinzou” by Nonoka Oobuchi and Neru is the ending song.

Mysterious Disappearances is an adaptation of the manga by Nujima, which began serialization in Shogakukan’s Yawaraka Spirits in 2019 and has six tankoubon volumes under the Big Comics label as of July 2023. The story follows Sumireko, an aspiring novelist, and the mysterious, young-looking Ren as they solve various supernatural mysteries in a town.
