Park Eun Bin’s Agency And Drama Production Company Dismissed Pay Rate Speculations

Park Eun Bin’s agency and the production company of a drama she is in talks for have denied the report about her high pay rate.

On January 29, Newsen stated that Park Eun Bin, in discussions for the drama “Hyper Knife” (literal title), had her agency propose a pay rate of 300 million won (approximately $224,500) per episode. The final amount is expected to settle between 250 million (approximately $187,000) and 300 million won.

Responding to the report, a Namoo Actors representative issued a statement, stating, “It is not true.”

On the same day, the CEO of Blaad Studio, the production company for the drama “Hyper Knife,” refuted the reported pay rate for Park Eun Bin, stating, “We came across the report of 300 million won per episode, but this is not true. It is a completely different story.”

He continued, “It is true that we are fondly in talks with actress Park Eun Bin as we prepare for this project, but we have not signed a contract, and we have only met once or twice for positive discussions. We have not even discussed the payment in detail yet.”

“Hyper Knife” is a medical crime thriller drama narrating the tale of a doctor and murderer reuniting with her teacher, the cause of her downfall. Penned by Kim Seon Hee, known for “Bangjungsa” webtoon and OCN’s “God’s Quiz: Reboot,” Park Eun Bin is said to be offered the role of Jung Se Ok, a psychopathic doctor fixated on human brain studies, deeming human lives less valuable than bugs.
