In the first episode of the new anime Tadaima, Okaeri introduced us to the Fujiyoshi family as they settle into a new suburban neighborhood with their son Hikari.
Set in an omegaverse where male omegas can have children, the anime centers on Hiromu and Masaki, an alpha and omega husband pair, and their son Hikari.
In the first episode, we meet the Fujiyoshi family who have just moved into a new neighborhood with their toddler, Hikari.
Masaki, the omega father, takes Hikari to the hospital, where they later meet up with Hiromu, Masaki’s alpha husband and Hikari’s father, at his workplace.
Masaki feels down when Hiromu’s colleagues discover he’s an omega, but the love of his husband and son helps him feel better.
The family also celebrated Christmas together, where Hiromu told Hikari that he was like the star on top of their Christmas tree.
Unfortunately, a misunderstanding occurred, and Hikari accidentally broke the star, leaving him inconsolable. However, Hiromu managed to find another star just in time, bringing relief to the family.
Expectation
In the second episode of the slice of life anime, we can expect the story to pick up where the first episode left off.
We may see more interactions with their neighbor Yuuki Hirai, whose mother has shown affection towards Masaki and Hikari.
While Hirai himself may not seem interested in the Fujiyoshi couple, he could become an important character later on.
Since the last episode featured the Fujiyoshi family celebrating Christmas, the upcoming one will likely focus on their New Year’s celebrations. We might see more characters being introduced to the story.
