Lee Sungjong’s exclusive contract with SPK Entertainment has been officially terminated as of March 30 KST, confirmed by a representative of the idol.
The termination occurred through forced mediation by the court due to the ongoing civil lawsuit between him and SPK Entertainment regarding contractual obligations.
In December 2023, the idol filed for the termination of his exclusive contract with SPK Entertainment, citing reasons such as the company’s failure to provide the promised support outlined in the contract and its failure to pay him his earnings from both group and solo activities.
He joined SPK Entertainment as an artist in August 2022. In 2023, he debuted his first solo single, ‘The One’, before delighting fans with the release of INFINITE’s 7th mini album, ’13egin’.
